Our Christmas Book Donation Program was a huge success! Due to some very wonderful individuals five (5) different Cancer Institutions will be delivering books to their cancer patients this holiday season!!

Our goal was 100…and we reached 40!!! 

Still a terrific amount!!

By your generosity these books will be and have been delivered to Mission Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Center, Fountain Valley Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Colon Cancer Center, Orange Coast Oncology and Hoag Memorial Hospital to the Day Hospital (where patients are receiving treatment) and the Cancer Ward Floor on Christmas!

Along with cheering up patients, FORCE will receive $200.00 plus $110.00 from the generosity of friends who donated directly to FORCE in my name for my Birthday!  In total FORCE will receive $310.00

This book was meant to cheer patients and survivors up during their treatment, to tell them it is okay to deal with how they are feeling, their emotions and to make it fun so it would be easier to endure, fight and laugh!   This is what I needed during my cancer journey and wanted to sincerely help others the same way. My goal in writing this book was to get it to as many patients and survivors who needed it and with the kindness, generosity and support of everyone through the year, this goal is beginning to come true!

To me, Christmas is about giving and giving back, it is about looking at the last year, celebrating our triumphs, making it through our trails, and sharing with family, friends and those that we love!! As always in my life, I have been truly blessed with love, support, kindness, another Christmas, another birthday all surrounded by the love of true friends and family!  But this year I feel incredibly blessed to be able to help so many with the help of others.  This Christmas Book Donation would not have been possible without the kindness of others!  My sincere, heartfelt thanks and gratitude!
