Her spirit and determination led her to write the book, “Mirror Makeovers and Savvy Insights for The Everyday Gal Surviving Cancer and Baldness with a Sense of Humor”, with the hope of encouraging others struggling with the disease. Along with the book, Savage founded a competitive paddling team which travels the world to create awareness about the positive effects of exercise after cancer. She resides in Southern California with her family and friends.
