As most of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this is the month that breast cancer gets a lot of help in the form of understanding, donations and awareness.  It is wonderful to get help for such a worthy cause. 

Also, as most of you know, those who know me and those who have been following my blog, I have decided to make it ALL Cancer Awareness Month and to do my best to raise money and help any charities that I can. After all even though I did have breast cancer, my book is for all cancers and I think all cancer deserve the awareness and the fight to help find a cure.  So I do my best to help all of them.

It has been wonderful, I have been able to donate to several different groups, breast cancer, a group that helps all cancers and Luekemia & Lymphoma.  What more could you ask for?  And I have been able to do all of this with your help!  So be proud and keep helping the fight even if it is not the month of October, but all year round!  Spread the word, every little bit helps someone dear to us, someone dear to those we love, or someone dear to others and us …meaning ourselves!  So continue to fight, continue to reach out and continue to help, it does not take much.  One book, can raise spirits!  I have gotten so many kind words, so many thank you’s  and so many well wishes for helping others with my words and my honesty about my experience.   But even if not a book, just help, again it does not take much, we are all touched by this horrible disease, ALL of us!

So, if you have been following my blog, I have even tried to give you something in return for helping.  I have had a contest set up that was originally going to end on October 31, but I have extended it due to all the wonderful response.  So now, when you purchase a book, you will not only be helping me to help charities and make my dream come true of giving back, but you will be helping charites and you have the chance to receive something in return.  So reach out, do something good and let’s keep this fight moving forward.  The contest is extended until November 7th, but even after that let’s keep going…we can do it!!
